“Bob”

Age 74 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Aperion Care in Wilmington.

Born December 8, 1948 in Joliet, Bob was a son of Matthew Trizna and Cecelia (Kovalcik) Vidmar. He was raised and educated in Joliet and graduated from Providence High School with the class of 1966. Bob worked for the City of Joliet as a Foreman in the Sewer Department until retirement, and in his free time enjoyed fishing, golfing and metal detecting. He was a longtime member of the Moran A.C. in Joliet and the Pure Rod and Gun Club in Plainfield. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Sharon; daughter: Ashley (Sam) LaRocca; brother: Roger (Reenie) Trizna; sisters-in-law: Mary (Dan) Hurst and Sue (the late Edward) Tadey; brother-in-law: John (Sandi) Tadey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his father: Matthew Trizna; his parents: Cecelia (Kovalcik) and Edmund Vidmar, and brother and sister-in-law: Richard (Janet) Trizna.

Per Bob’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
