William C. Lesnik

William ""Billy"" C. Lesnik Age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday September 9, 2011. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mary (nee Sudar) Lesnik; devoted son Robert (Tamara) Lesnik, loving brother John (Joan) Lesnik; sister- in- law June, loving in-laws, and many loving nieces, nephews, and god-children.
Preceded in death by his parents John and Mary (nee Verbic) Lesnik. Two brothers Joseph Lesnik and Lud (Virginia) Lesnik.
William was an Accountant at Sheffield Steel dedicating 31 years and retiring in 1988. William was a Charter Member of the American Legion Post 1080, St. Joe"s Seniors, KSKJ, St. Francis Lodge, and Slovenian Culture Center. William also served in the United States Navy during WWII from 06/28/1944-07/09/1946. Bill was a very kind and giving husband, father, uncle, and god-father. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of William"s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 14, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial.
