William M. Kostelec

William M. Kostelec, age 63, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Edward's Hospital in Naperville.

Survived by his loving mother Helen (nee Enich) Kostelec; one sister Rosemary (Alan) Krol; one brother Steve (Terry) Kostelec; four nieces Helen, Kristin, Mary, and Holly Krol; four nephews Alan Krol, Steve, John, and Michael Kostelec; numerous cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his father Ludwig Kostelec; several aunts and uncles.

William resided in Rockdale his entire life and was a resident at Alden Estates of Naperville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for the past three years. He went to St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. William volunteered for the MS Society in Joliet and was a lifelong parishioner of St Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale. He was known as an down-to-earth guy, a good friend to everyone, a car enthusiast and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the nursing staff and volunteers at Alden Estates of Naperville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, who have assisted with his care over the past three years.

In lieu of flowers donations in William's name may be made to the National MS Society.

The visitation will be on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Tezak Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a Service at the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive relatives and friends for a committal service at 10:30 a.m. at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Romeoville on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.
