William R. ("Mr. Bill") Bolte Jr.

William R. Bolte Jr. “Mr. Bill” age 74, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Julia (Jeannie) Bolte; dear brother, Ronald (Judith) Bolte; dear sister, Patricia (Donald) Vranich; dear nieces and nephews, Ronald Jr., Brian, Susan, Donald, and Laura; and special friend, Bonnie Gerrettie.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Theresa Marie Bolte (nee Loeffler); loving son, Raymond Bolte; dear nephew, Jeff Bolte; and parents, William Sr. and Dorothy (nee Wetherholt) Bolte.

Bill was a member of Croatian Cultural Club, KSKJ St. Francis Lodge #29, Coal City Area Club, as well as numerous others. Bill was an avid fisherman and White Sox fan. He enjoyed a good game of euchre. His cats, Spotzie and Calley, were very dear to his heart. Most of all, Bill loved his family.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to Laura Vranich and Bonnie Gerrettie for the love, care, and support they have shown as well as to the staff at Symphony of Joliet for the excellent care provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Will County Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Bill’s life will begin on Saturday, April 30, 2016 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. There will be NO services held at the funeral home. Per Bill’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
