Walter M. Rice Sr.

Walter M. Rice Sr., 68 passed away on Monday, June 20,2022 in Joliet, IL.
He was born to the late Robert and Louise Rice on October 4, 1953 in Chicago, IL.
Walter worked and retired from Caterpillar after 34 years.
He is preceded in death by three siblings; Mary, Robert and Elois.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 49 years whom he married in 1973, Barbara Rice; children: Gwendolyn Isaacs, Terry D. Rice, Walter Marcellus (Tracie Montoya) Rice and Wesley Darnell Rice. Also surviving him are seven sibilings, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M at Tezak Funeral Home. Funeral services will continue in Starkville,Mississippi.
