Victor Manuel Borrego Age 35, at rest Wednesday January 13, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by his loving mother Ines (nee Martinez) Borrego, four sisters Delia (Raful) Garcia, Yolanda Borrego, Nancy (Andy) Nunez, Linda (Joel) Aguirre, one brother Francisco (Heidi) Borrego Jr., and survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Francisco Borrego Sr. and infant brother Francisco. Victor was born in Joliet and a life-long resident. He was known for his upbeat and friendly personality, he enjoyed making others laugh and dance whether it be through drums or DJ-ing. We will miss you, ""DJ Vic"". In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation would be appreciated and will be used according to the families wishes. The Borrego family would like to thank Children"s Memorial Hospital, especially, Dr. A. DeFriedes, Silver Cross Hospital"s nurses on the third floor and ICU, Dr. J. Penaherrera, Dr. P. Jain, Dr. A. Garapati, Dr. A. Mouradi, all other medical staff, and the Joliet Area Community Hospice.

Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 16, 2010 at 9:30, then will proceed to St. Joseph Church Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10am. Visitation will be Friday 3 to 8. At Victor"s request cremation rites will be accorded following the church services.
