Victor J. Bialczak

Victor J. Bialczak, age 81, entered into eternal life on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Victor is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Sandra Bialczak (nee Cielak); son, Matthew (Lori) Bialczak; niece, Elizabeth (Blake) Nelson; nephew, Jason Bysina; and cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter J. Bialczak; mother, Frances Bialczak; brother, Walter J. Bialczak Jr.; sister-in-law, Patricia Bialczak; and brother, Thomas J. Bialczak.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, May 7, 1943, he was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a dedicated member of the Disabled American Veterans organization.

Victor worked for the City of Chicago over 30 years as a gas meter inspector at Peoples Gas. He was also a devoted and active member of the 30th Ward, where he served as treasurer and trusted aide to the ward committeeman, working tirelessly for the benefit of his community.

After retiring and moving to Carillon in Plainfield, Illinois, Victor continued to serve his community by volunteering for the Carillon Community. He lent his skills as a lighting and audio engineer, helping to produce the Carillon Community RPTV video information segments and assisting with various other community events in the Village of Romeoville. His dedication to helping others did not waver, and he always sought ways to give back.

Victor was a cherished husband, a proud father, a special uncle, and great-uncle. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his family and community will be deeply missed. He leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A celebration of Victor’s life will begin on Thursday, February 27, 2025 with a memorial visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
