At rest October 21, 2009 at Provena Villa Franciscan. Born and resided in Rockdale most of her life. Employeed by Illinois Bell for 44 years.
Survived by her daughter Martina (Gene) Stokes, grandchildren Joseph (Ann) Chesko, Gary (Renee) Chesko, Warren Spray, Cheryl (Kevin) Marks, William (Shelly) Chesko, step-grandchildren Robert (Cindy) Stokes, Bradley Stokes, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren., sister-in-law Emma Zagar, nieces Cookie Stevens and Kathi DeMarte, nephew Theodore Zagar and several other nieces and nephews. Also, special friends Ellen Johnson, Hester Hrechko and Helen Smith.
Preceded in death by her husband John Spehar, parents Martin and Veronica Zagar, brothers Theodore, Martin, Joseph and John, sister Estella, and granddaughter Linda Spray.
At Veronica"s request there will be no service or visitation. Memorials in her memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
