Tracey F. Mutz died suddenly on May 12, 2015 at the age of 60.
Survived by her cherished daughters, Laurenn Flynn, Christine (Angel) Castro, and Tamara Mutz; her stepdaughter, Angelica Mutz; devoted "Mimi" to her granddaughter, Kaylee Ann; loving father, Paul Flynn; and her beloved siblings, Paul (Mary) Flynn, Patrice (Ed) Baptista and Timothy (Jann) Flynn. She is also survived by many extended family members and close friends, both near and far.
Preceded in death by her dear mother, Marian Flynn (nee Donahue); her loving husband of 21 years, James P. Mutz Jr.; and her father-in-law, James P. Mutz Sr.
Tracey was an unbelievably amazing mother, wife, grandmother, and friend to so many. She was a straight shooter who told it like it was. You always knew where you stood with Tracey, good or bad. She loved those close to her with everything she had. Tracey was the rock, the glue that held her family together and through good times and bad she was always there for those she loved with her sage advice, a hug, a comforting word, or a swift kick in the rear, if that's what was needed. No matter the miles between, Tracey never let an occasion go by without a call, text, or one of her famous hand-written letters or cards. Her sense of humor was unparalleled, and her loved ones will always be able to look back fondly at innumerous moments and conversations shared with her.
Tracey was an avid collector, always seeking out treasures with her partner-in-crime Kaylee Ann, at the local antique stores, junk stores, and garage sales. Working as a CNA for 20 years, Tracey thrived at taking care of others. She always put everyone else's needs before hers, and that carried over into her work, making it more of a passion than a job. She spent much of her time outside, enjoying life's simple pleasures while listening to some good old tunes, feeding her birdie friends, tending to her flowers and gardening, and spending time talking and being with the ones she loved.
Tracey's spirit and passion will live on through her family and friends. They will find peace knowing that she has been reunited with her mother and husband, whom she loved and missed so dearly.
"Always in our minds, forever in our hearts."
Memorial donations to Tracey's family would be appreciated during this difficult time.
