Timothy J. Gruber, age 55, of Joliet, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2012.
Survived by his beloved wife Andi (nee Suhadolc); his loving children Christopher (Stefanie nee Smith) Gruber and Katie (Will) Napier; his two cherished granddaughters Emma Napier and Reese Gruber; also surviving is his mother Edna Gruber ; brother Terrence Gruber; twin sister Cathy (John) DiGiovanni; mother-in-law Delores Suhadolc; brother and sister-in-law Len and Noreen Suhadolc; his two dogs Wrigley and Ernie; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Alexander "Sonny" Gruber (1995); infant brother Daniel Gruber and father-in-law Len Suhadolc (1997) .
Tim was employed with Al Gruber and Son for over 20 years as a carpenter and since 1998, he was employed with the City of Joliet. Tim was a great carpenter and was an amazing cook. He lived life to the fullest and loved to help his friends and family. He had the kindest heart and was a great father and grandfather to his children and his two granddaughters.
A Celebration of Timothy's life will begin on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Sunday October 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
