Timothy E. Garman

Timothy Edward Garman, age 58, of Joliet, Illinois passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at his home with his family by his side after a brief illness.

Timothy was born on July 24, 1965 to his late parents, Robert G. Garman and Lois Garman. Tim was the baby of five children.

He graduated from Joliet Central Highschool class of 1983 and was a loyal and dedicated employee for Primus Electronics for over thirty years.

Timothy met his wife Penny (Moore) Garman on New Years Eve in 1990 and they were married on June 3^rd 1995. They welcomed their one and only daughter, Erin Catherine Garman on August 15, 2001.

Timothy was a loving and devoted family man whose greatest joy was watching his daughter play high school and travel basketball, and softball. He was thrilled to continue to support her during collegiate softball and bowling. He loved the mini vacations the family was able to go on at various locations.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. Garman and Lois (Young) Garman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Penny (Moore) Garman; daughter, Erin Catherine Garman; his brother, Robert (Kelly) Garman; sisters, Susan Vandyke, Sally (Joe) Viscum, and Sherry (Bob) Filas. Tim also had many nieces and nephews that he loved and was proud of. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

Tim was a good, kind, and loving man who will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Timothy’s name to the Will County Humane Society in Shorewood would be appreciated.
