Thoummady Soulivong, age 94, at rest on Saturday, August 13, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Thoummady is survived by her children, Somthavinh (Khampheng) Thonphadith, Oraphim (Darrell Roddick) Liemsithisak and Narin (Khampang) Bouttavong; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Preceded in death by her husband, Boontum Sakou; and one grandson, Sinnakone "Lon" Thongphadith.
Thoummady was a strong willed, big hearted woman who was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the pillar of the family and impacted everyone’s lives in so many different ways. Thoummady loved to travel and went all over the world. She will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Thoummady’s life will begin on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet with a Buddhist Traditional Ceremony from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
