Thomas "Tom" Walsh

Thomas “Tom” Walsh passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Amita Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Tom is survived by his devoted daughters: Jamie Walsh and Kelly Walsh; his loving mother: Delores “Dee” Zdralevich (nee Seal); caring sister and brother in law: Wendy “Winnie” Mullen (nee Walsh) and Bill Mullen; nieces: Tiffany (John) Kiaupa and Sara Walsh; nephew: Kevin (Krystal) Archer; great nieces: Kailey Archer, Emma Walsh and Lily “Smalls” Kiaupa, and great nephew: Khristopher Archer.  Tom will also be missed by many friends that he considered family.

Tom was preceded in death by his dad: Frank Walsh and his father: George Zdralevich.

Tom was a devoted father, loving son, amazing brother, caring uncle, and outstanding friend. He was a talented carpenter and woodworker who loved his family, the Oakland Raiders, and Ted Nugent.

The family would like to thank the many wonderful caregivers that took care of Tom.  A special thank you to Nancy at St Joseph’s hospital for being there for Tom’s family and for helping him to complete his journey.

Per Tom’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Masks and social distancing practices are required and a total occupancy of 50 guests will be permitted to attend the memorial service.
