Age 87. At rest November 29, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Julie Patch, parents Richard and Barbara (nee Schmidt) Patch, four sisters Kathryn (Charles) Brown, Lillian (Melvin) Hasty, Emma (Charles) Fassola, and Evelyn Roberts, two brothers Richard (Theonell) Patch, and William (Dorothy) Brown. Thomas was born in Joliet worked as a mail carrier for 35 years in Joliet. He was a member of Cantigny Post 367, was a sergeant in the United States Army, Unit 658th ATB WWII. A chapel service will be held at the funeral lHome on December 2 at 11 A.M. Father Gregory Bruner of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church officiating. Internment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday Morning December 2 at 10 A.M. until services.
