Thomas M. Nasenbeny, age 80, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
Thomas is survived by his loving son, Daniel (Julie) Nasenbeny; cherished grandchildren, Nickolas and Madison; dear brother, Gerald (Dolores) Nasenbeny; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann (nee Craughwell); parents, Kervin and Louise (nee Horvat) Nasenbeny; brothers, Albert in infancy, Rudolph (Frances), Leonard (Dorothy), Robert (Lucille), James (Florence), and Donald (Faye) Nasenbenny; sister, Marie (Leo) Ficarella and Louise (Edward) Stonich.
Thomas was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School where he played baseball as a pitcher. He was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was employed at U.S. Steel for 47 years. Thomas was involved in the hobby of pigeon racing for many years. He was an avid sports fan and a devoted Cubs fan. He coached his son, Dan during his youth at St. Joe’s Little League. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations in Thomas’ name to JOHA Foundation, 2614 W. Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60435 would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Thomas’ life will begin on Friday, December 9, 2016 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435 then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
