Thomas P. Murfey, Sr.

Thomas P. Murfey Sr., age 71, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Thomas is survived by his brothers, James Murfey III and Gerald Murfey; nephews, Dan Murfey, Peter Murfey, Alex Pankiewicz; and niece, Monica (Murfey) Edwards.

Preceded in death by his parents, James C. Murfey Jr. and Veronica Murfey; brother, Paul Murfey; sisters, Philomena and Joanne Murfey; and son, Thomas P. Murfey Jr.

Thomas graduated from Andrean High School in 1964. He served honorably in the United States Air Force.  He worked many years for the Chicago and North Western Railroad. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed building model trains and watching his beloved Chicago Bears.
