Thomas J. Luchik, 92, of Joliet passed away peacefully on October 9, 2011; Beloved husband of the late Dessie nee Constandaras; loving father of Joseph (Angela), Thomas (Traci), and Mary Lynn (Robert) Crissup; proud grandfather of Brendan, Derek, Stephan, Jamie Nicole, Robert, Benjamin, and Tyler; great-grandfather of Barrett and Connor; dear brother of Mary Rose (Fred) Martin; brother-in-law of Dorothy Luchik. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Luchik, and his siblings Sophie (George) Roesel and Stephan Luchik.
Thomas retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of employment, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during WWII. Thomas enjoyed the time he spent with the The Barber Shoppers and the OldtimerA�??s Association in Joliet.

A Celebration of ThomasA�?? life will held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
