Therese Ann Terdich (nee Krizmanic)

Age 91 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Presence Villa Franciscan in Joliet.

Born June 3, 1930 in Joliet, Therese was a daughter of John and Cenka (nee Bajt) Krizmanic. She was a lifelong resident of Joliet and worked as a secretary for various companies in both Chicago and Joliet until starting a family and caring for her home with her late husband Edward.

Therese is survived by her daughter: Karen (Tim) Matuszewski; grandsons: Todd and Trent; brother: Raymond (Carol) Krizmanic of Monona, Wisconsin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward; parents: John and Cenka; three sisters: Clare Tadey, Genevieve Wisniewski and Dorothy Krizmanic, brother: Robert Krizmanic, and one sister-in-law: Lorraine (Robert) Krizmanic.

Per Therese’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Interment will follow and Therese will be laid to rest at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Crest Hill.
