Theresa R. Sitar, age 76, at rest Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Loving mother, of Pam Sitar; loving cousin, of the Sitar and Vidmar families.
Preceded in death by her husband, Steve Sitar (1998); parents, Steve and Frances (nee Misiak) Owsianowski; brother, Steve Oswianowski.
Theresa was born in Chicago and resided in Joliet most of her lifetime. Co-owner with her husband of the Valley View Garden Center and retired from Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed baking for all her family and friends.

From where services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 9:30 am to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8 pm.
