Theresa Josephine Juresic (Alessio), 90 years old, passed away Monday, February 07, 2022
In her younger life, Josie enjoyed bowling and competed in many leagues. She rarely missed an outing with her Red Hat Divas and was quite the competitor at dominos and hand/foot canasta. Josie traveled extensively to many worldwide locations and also enjoyed many bus trips with the Will County Farm Bureau with Dennis Vitanovec. She loved providing her family homemade meals and no one left her table hungry. Somehow, she always made caring for others look so easy. She enjoyed making spaghetti dinners at the American Italian Cultural Club for many years. Josie enjoyed her religious community and activities at the Stone Hill Bible Church as well as volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce, CASA and as a Will County election judge. Josie has been an active, meaningful and steadfast member of our community. As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother Josie cheered from the bleachers at more sporting events than anyone can imagine.
