Age 94. At rest Friday January 20, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet with her daughters by her side.
Loving mother of Loretta J. (John) Valek and Dorothy M. (Don) Forte. Dearest grandmother to; Beth Ann (Anthony) DiBartolomeo, Andrea (Geoff) Flagg, Susanne Murnen, Suzanne Valek, and John P. Valek; fond great-grandmother to, Alex and Aaron Flagg, Natalie and Kelsey Murnen, Amy (Jeff) Rodrigue, Sarah and Christopher Tezak, and Kylie and Josh Bruggeman. Great-great-grandmother of Alexander John Rodrigue. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alex A. Dunajewski; her parents, Rudolph and Mary (nee Sporar) Sprajcar; 4 sisters, Mary Siefert, , Lucille Setina, Antonia Rittof and Victoria Juricic; 3 brothers, Steve Sprajcar, Anthony Sprajcar and Val Sprietzer; a granddaughter, Sally J. Bruggeman.
Theresa was born in Joliet and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of V.F.W. Cantigny Post #367 LadiesA�?? Auxiliary, and a lifelong parishioner of St. MaryA�??s Nativity Church. Theresa enjoyed special visits from all of her nieces and nephews, and especially, Delores A�??DotsieA�?i�� Lukanich, Janet Moorman, Shirley Pershey, and John Schubert. All of her family and friends will dearly miss her warm hospitality and homemade apple strudel.

Funeral Services for Theresa E. Dunajewski will be Monday January 23, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Church Cemetery. VISITATION TODAY Sunday from 2-7 p.m. and again Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
