Ted, also known as Paul, came to Joliet at the age of 11 from Pueblo, Colorado where he was born. He retired from U.S. Steel in 1974. He was a former member of St. Anne's Parish of Crest Hill, and a former parishioner of the Church of St. Anthony where he was a proud altar boy. Ted was also very proud to be a member of the JTHS '30-'31 Lightweight Big Six Championship Basketball Team. Ted was an exceptional person, kind, respectful, always smiling, never critical or judgmental and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His memory of yesteryear national sports teams, players and stats, as well as Joliet in the 20's and 30's, his old friends, businesses and people of Joliet was phenomenal. He entertained his family with his hundreds of stories until the last three days of his life.

A special thank you to Dr. Wright and the staff of OLA and Joliet Area Community Hospice for the exceptional care and love given to Ted and our family.
