At rest on October 7, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center with his loving family by his side. Survived by his wife of 60 years Mary (nee Snitzer) Casper; children Sergei (Jane) and Mark (Kathleen) Casper; brother George (Ann) Casper. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents John Casper and Anna (nee Milley) Casper; granddaughter Alexandria Casper (April 18, 2006); brother John (Elizabeth) Casper and sister Anna (the late Mike Spontak) Casper.
Theodoee was born in Kelly Island, Ohio in 1919 and has resided in Joliet since the 1920"s. Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army receiving a Service Stripe American Defense Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with a Bronze Battle Star, World War II Victory Medal and the American Campaign Medal. Member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Post.
Theodore Casper will lie in state on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
