Thelma Minarich
Age 90, at rest on Monday, October12, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center Thelma was born in Plano, Il and has resided in Joliet most of her life. Survived by a daughter, Nancy (Richard, deceased) Horwath of Joliet, her son Marvin (Lynn) Minarich Sr. of Channahon, grandchildren Daniel and Lisa Horwath of Joliet, Patti ( Bob ) Rambo of Plainfield, Marvin Minarich Jr. of Channahon, Tina Carlson and Sherri (Steve) Ferguson of Pekin, Illinois., many great and great, great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Josephine Hibler of Joliet. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Albert, her daughter Althea Unland, her parents, her brother Stephen in Romania, and her sister Teresa Anscott. Thelma was a longtime member of St. Mary Nativity Church, Slovenian Women"s Union Branch 20, Croation Union, Cantigny Post Ladies Auxiliary and Joliet Moose Lodge 300.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Nativity Church, preceded by prayers at 9:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
