Thaddeus S. Synowic

Thaddeus S. "Ted" Synowic, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 with his loving family by his side.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Betty (nee Kambic); loving children, Linda (Jeff) Wilson, Paul (Ruth), and Jeffrey (Laura); cherished grandchildren, Maddie and Sam Wilson and Dylan Synowic; also survived by numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (nee Burdasz) Synowic; sister, Mary Zolecki; and brothers, Joseph, Stanley, and Andrew.

Ted served proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired from Reynolds Aluminum where he worked as an electrician for 37 years.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for the care that was provided.

A Celebration of Ted's life will begin on Sunday, August 10, 2014 with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, 60435. On Monday, August 11, 2014, prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 9:45 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
