Tadeusz Jan Dziedzic ""Ted""
Age 58, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2009 with his family by his side. Ted was born in Poland to the late Jozef Dziedzic and Maria Dziedzic.Ted served in the Polish Army in 1971-72 then married Zofia Dziedzic in 1973. Leaving behind the mountains he loved, he immigrated to the United States on December 23, 1979 where he worked in the construction industry. Ted was a master craftsman and his skills in carpentry were well known to many. Ted and Sophie have owned and operated the ""Ted & Sophie's"" Bar, located on Hickory Street in Joliet, IL for the last 18 years. He had many joys in life but none greater than his love for his wife, Zofia (Sophie) of 36 years, and his two daughters and four grandchildren. Ted is survived by his wife Sophie; his mother, Maria Dziedzic of Poland, his daughter Ella Cagle and her husband Carlen and their daughter Alexis of Lubbock, TX; his daughter Renata Kelley, her husband Brian and their children, Adessa, Kiara and Nicholas of Bonita Springs, FL; his brother Jan Dziedzic , his wife Wladyslawa and their children, Kristina and Beata of Oak Lawn, IL.; his brothers Stanislaw Dziedzic, Aleksander Dziedzic and his sister Maria Czubernat and numerous nephews and nieces in Poland. Ted had a great love for the outdoors. He had a great appreciation for God"s creatures, but especially loved horses. He admired their spirit, strength, and beauty. Ted leaves us with many memories as a great son, husband, father and friend. He will be remembered by those many lives that were touched by his warm smile, his integrity, and his kind ways. Wake will be held Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 3:00PM- 8:00PM. Interment in Banska Wyzna, Poland.
