Age 74. Passed away October 14, 2011 at Provena Villa Franciscan.
Survived by William (Laura) Zier and Rebecca (Kevin) Pruitt. Grandchildren; Jeanette, Erik, Andrea and Daniel. Great-Grandchildren Dakota, Bailey, Haylee, and Riley. Also survived by brothers Jerome (Jeanette) Jostak and Stephen (Lisa) Jostak, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband George R. Zier, and parents Steven and Mary Jostak.
Sylvia returned home to Joliet after living in Colorado and Arizona. She was a resident of Park Tower in Joliet where she spent time playing cards and participating in activities with friends she had come to know.
She will be remembered for her story telling throughout the years.

Private funeral services were held on Wednesday October 19th 2011.
