Steven S. Panian

Born on November 25, 1968, age 39. Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at his late residence in Joliet. Born and raised in the Joliet/Crest Hill area.

Survived by his loving children, Nathan J. and Kylie M. Panian; mother of his children, Kristie K. (nee Baker) Panian; parents, Frank W. and Lorraine C. (nee Witczak) Panian; brother and sister, Frank E. Panian and Valerie L. (Ryan) Hanes; four nieces, Brianna, Courtney, Megan and Erin Hanes; nephew, Benjamin Keller; Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank G. and Anna Panian; and maternal grandparents Edward and Dorothy Witczak.

Steve was an avid Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan who loved fishing, bike riding, golf and playing ball with his children and nieces. Graduated in 1987 from Lockport Township High School. Worked for the International Paper Company formerly Weyerhauser for 13 years. Attended First Assembly of God in Joliet. Steve loved his family and friends and is greatly loved by all who knew him.

A Chapel Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Bob Hahn officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
