Sophia Ellenay Pantoja, born on September 26, 2016 and passed away from complications from pneumonia and her rare syndrome Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome on February 26, 2018.
She has joined her fellow WHS brothers and sisters and is survived by her parents Michael and Lydia, and four wonderful sisters Yanelle, Mariah, Sabrina, and Lydia. Grandparents Andres and Kimberly Pantoja and Jose and Leticia Duenez. Sophia was loved by numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
She put up a fierce fight, and we knew this day would come, but no one can be truly prepared for this. Sophia kept us and everybody in suspense and would overcome everything thrown at her. We thought she would stroll out of this as always! I can truly say we are very proud to be a part of her fight for she brought so many people into our lives and showed us the true meaning of love, hope, and especially faith! Her short life touched people around the world that she had never even met. She fought a long hard battle for the short life she lived and she is our champion, our birdie, and our warrior princess diva! And as someone said, Sophia had all the holes in her heart, but now sits perfectly in heaven with our Lord and leaves us with a humongous hole in our hearts! You can finally hang up your gloves, Sophia. We know you were tired. We love you. We are proud of the fight you fought! Fly high our little angel, until we meet again!
