Sinnakone ""Lon"" Thongphadith, Retired United States Air Force Sergeant, Age 33 of Joliet, Illinois, passed away suddenly due to unknown causes, on October 18, 2014.
Born on December 29, 1981 in Vientiane, Laos, a much loved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Lon is survived by Tameka Brand and his children, Adonis and Aniyah; parents, Khampheng and Somthavinh; Siblings, Eric (Nok), Don, Noi (Thong), Pouk (Flavio), Pat and Jon (Tamara); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lon was cherished for his love and dedication to our family, as well as his service to our country as a United States Air Force Sergeant. Lon enjoyed singing, comedy and weight-lifting, in addition to spending time with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Lon's life will begin with a visitation on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd ~ Joliet, IL 60435, with a Buddhist Traditional Ceremony on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home. To conclude, there will be a Laotian Blessing Ceremony on Sunday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m. at The Senephimmachack Family Home at 965 Premrose Drive ~ Romeoville, IL 60446.
