Shirley A. Page, age 76, passed away April 11, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. She is survived by her brother Raymond (Jeanne) Page; Godchildren Anne (Steve) Nelson, Matthew (Sarah) Page and Nicholas Brown; numerous nieces and nephews including Dr. Greg (Becky) Page, Jill (Michael) Wise, Nicole (Tom) Knapp, Matthew (Sarah) Page and Dr. Brian (Jessica) Page; special aunt to Katie and Sarah Nelson; sister-in-law Delores Page; many cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents Josephine Anne nee Jelinek and Cory A. Page and her brother Robert Page.
Shirley was a 14 year member of OSF (Sister Josette), and a teacher for 38 years in Joliet, Chicago and Lansing, IL and also in Toledo and Columbus, OH. She was an avid reader, traveler and sports fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
A Celebration of ShirleyA�??s life will begin on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery, Crest Hill. Visitation will be on Monday from 9 am until the time of prayers at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
