Shirlene Marie Gonzalez (nee Maldonado) Age 73
Passed peacefully on June 18, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Joliet and lived most her adult life in Romeoville. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Henry Gonzalez.
Survived by her children, Deborah (Michael) Vollmer, Michael (Betty) Gonzalez, Victoria (Anthony) Lewis. Her Grandchildren Mathieu (Danielle) Vollmer, Ceceliia Vollmer, Kyle Lewis, Jason and Adam Gonzalez. Her sisters and brother that she loved so dearly Juanita Lopez, Jacqueline (Frank ) Bati, Rosemarie (Rueben) Garcia, Joseph (Linda ) Hernandez Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Dioscoro Hernandez, Sisters Gladys Costos and Margaret (Midge) Lopez. She was a kind and gentle spirit who will be missed by everyone who knew her. A celebration of Shirlene's life will be held Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 12:30. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Funeral Home.
