Sharon D. (nee Harrah) Gavin, age 67, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Sharon is survived by her children, Laura Fenoglio, Kimberly Ohlrogge and Derrick Tlanda; grandchildren, Logan and Liam Fenoglio, Courtney, Sydney and Nathan Ohlrogge, Deven, Marissa, Matthew Tlanda and Gabriel Rogers; siblings, Mark (Dawn) Harrah, Cynthia (late Jim) Norman, Keith (Eva) Harrah. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 16 years, Thomas Gavin and parents, Luther and Geneva (nee Hawks) Harrah.
Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved dancing and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be truly missed.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will begin on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with a service in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL). Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
