Scott Paul Kroll

November 12, 1956 — August 29, 2008

Scott Paul Kroll, Age 51, of Joliet, formerly of La Grange, IL, passed away with his family at his side on August 29, 2008 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Scott was born November 12, 1956 in Chicago. The son of Robert and Shirley Kroll; brother of Susan (Michael) Stanek of Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, Ronnie Crisanti-Kroll; three daughters, Skyler, Shawna, and Candice; step-daughter, Cheyenne Crisanti; many longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Kroll.

Scott grew up in Burr Ridge, IL and was a 1974 graduate of Lyons Township High School. He served in the US Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. He worked in construction, had a passion for the outdoors and nature, enjoyed watching old western movies, and loved spending time with his wife and daughters. Scott touched so many lives in so many ways. Never one to give up on anything, he resolved to fight to the bitter end and he did so with great dignity, stoicism and acceptance. He never complained about the card he had been dealt. Scott will be deeply missed by all that knew him and will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are broken knowing that we will not be able to see or touch him for a while. We also know that this life is a short journey to an eternal life, when we will all once again be together forever.
