Sandra Taylor

Sandra Taylor, age 67, passed away at her home in Crest Hill on September 18, 2020 with family and friends by her side.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Jimmy Taylor; children, Tammy, Brian, and Timmy (Michelle) Taylor; grandchildren, Tyler and Savannah Taylor; beloved pets Emmett, Jake, Lily, Ginger, Maggie, Riley, Spike, and Hans.

She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Sarah; nieces, Lisa and Vicki; parents Alpha Mae and James Huddleston; mother-in-law, Lula Taylor; father-in-law Delma Taylor; and many other close relatives, friends, and pets.

Sandra will be remembered as loving her family with a fierce passion. She was a lover of all animals and a large advocate for animal welfare. She created a large network of friends through her actions of activism for animals. Sandra also enjoyed sitting down and spending time reading a good book. Sandra will always be remembered for being a whole-hearted good person that genuinely loved all living creatures.

In lieu of flowers, there will be a fundraiser in Sandra’s name for Willow’s Wish, Harley’s Dream/Harley’s House of Hope, and Juno’s Place held at a later date.

Per Sandra’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time.
