Sandra Ann Klepec Age 63
At rest Monday, October 5, 2009. Survived by her brother William (Sylvia) Klepec, four nephews, Jeffery (Kim), Daniel (Kelly), Christopher, Rick (Tara), Niece Wendy (Tim) Stanley, cousins, Carol (Ken) Wiers, Mary (Gerald) Clair, Georgia (Jon) Kenny, Mary O"Conner, aunt Frances McNiff. Born in Joliet. Preceded in death by her parents Julius and Sophie Klepec, brother Raymond Klepec. Sandy loved antiquing, decorating her home, and working on craft items. For the 45 years she worked at Argonne National Laboratory she was known for her bright smile, her unending willingness to complete many assignments, her ability to remain calm in all circumstances, her generosity to others, and her care and concern for everyone. Sandy loved her family, her friends, and Spanky, her kitty. She will be missed by her dear fellow club members, JoAnn Brost, Rose Helmer, Karen Hughes, Sandy Lauer, Linda Lubben, Sue Rodeghiero, and Bonnie Sartori. Also, dearest friend of Jeanne Riley, Kay Lawhorn, Mary Berillo, and Pat Canaday. Sandy taught us all how to have dignity, grace, strength, and courage. To say she was loved and will be missed is only a small part of her legacy. Her family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Beverly Rooney.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 AM then will proceed to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated 10:00 AM Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery Visitation Friday from 2 to 8 PM
