Sandra D. Jimenez, age 54, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Gilbert Jimenez, Christopher Medina, Valerie Medina, Natalie (Ryan) Negley; grandchildren, David Carr, Juliana Jimenez, Gilbert Jimenez, Jr., Lacey Negley, Matthew Negley; mother, Shirley Vazquez; siblings, Paul (Patricia) Jimenez, Edmund (Jeanne) Jimenez, Angela Jimenez and Anita (Michael) Needham; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her fiancé, Gilbert Medina; father, Raul Jimenez; brother, Victor Jimenez and nephew, Nicholas Frank.

Sandra was born on August 15, 1963 in Chicago, IL. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was the best cook ever, was extremely supportive to her family and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. She had a very strong faith in the Lord. Sandra will be truly missed.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will begin on Tuesday, June 19 ,2018, with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:40 a.m., then processing to St. Mary Immaculate Church, Plainfield, IL, for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Visitation will be on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
