Sandra is survived by her son Matthew (Lori) Bialczak, niece Elizabeth (Blake) Nelson, nephew Jason Bysina, great-niece Julia Nelson and great-nephew William Nelson; and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandra is preceded in death by her beloved husband Victor J. Bialczak; her parents Albert and Jean Cielak and her sister Nancy Bysina.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 1, 1943, Sandra attended Holy Family Academy and began a career in accounting after high school. Sandra worked for many years as an accountant and office manager for Commercial Credit and also as Manager of Administration at Control Data Corporation, later CDI College.
Sandra and Victor shared a love of community and service, first and foremost in their beloved hometown of Chicago where they were active members of the 30th Ward. Upon retirement, Sandra found numerous ways to serve the community, including years of volunteering for Meals on Wheels and organizing social events in the Carillon community in Plainfield. Sandra loved travel, music and classic movies and was also an avid sports fan. She cheered louder than anyone for the Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears and Duke basketball.
Sandra was a loving and devoted wife and a thoughtful, generous and special daughter, sister, mother, aunt and great-aunt. Her warm and giving nature, sense of humor and dedication to family and friends will be greatly missed. Sandra and Victor set an exceptional standard for a loving and giving partnership that was evident to all who knew them. They departed this life only a few weeks apart and are together now and forever.
