Sally J. Bruggeman (Nee Valek)
Age 44, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Sally is survived by her husband of 21 years Robert R. Bruggeman, Jr.; her children Kylie and Joshua Bruggeman; her parents John and Loretta (Nee Dunajewski) Valek; two sisters, Suzanne and Beth Ann Valek; brother John Paul ""Jay"" Valek; grandmother Theresa (late Alex) Dunajewski; nieces Amy (Jeff) Rodrigue and Sarah Tezak; nephew Christopher Tezak; great-nephew Alexander ""Sasha"" Rodrigue; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia E. (Nee Shimek) Valek; Maternal and Paternal grandparents; and Father-in-law Robert R. Bruggeman, Sr.
Sally was previously employed at Michael"s Warehouse and the Fox Valley Press.
Sally"s family would like to thank her doctors, nurses and caregivers over the past few years especially Dr. Suh, JOHA and Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
A celebration of Sally"s life will be on Saturday, December 4, 2010 beginning at 9:30a.m. with prayers at the funeral home, then procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
