""Rudy"", age 86 at rest Tuesday November 28, 2006 at his home with his family by his side.

Survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Eileen M. (nee Hare) Scherle, Loving father of Penelope (Michael) Walker, Mary Sue (Kenneth) Faber, Daughter-in-law Marla (Lee) Kim, Dearest grandfather of Adam Scrogham, Jonathan Walker and Alex Kim. Two sisters Emma (late Frank) Duplissis and Marian (Melton) Bockman, special friends Jack Hayes, Don (Julie) Cain. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by his son Rudy Jon Scherle, Parents Frank and Susanna (nee Huber) Scherle, one brother and three sisters.

Rudolph was born in Hiliboka Buckovina, Romania. Resided in Joliet since 1965. Retired in 1980 from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years of service. Veteran of W W II U.S. Army and was wounded in Action and received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
