Ruby Maxine Fultz (nee Beair), age 82, entered eternal life on Monday, August 18, 2014 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's surrounded by her loving family.
Ruby is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward Fultz; loving children, Marsue (Robert) Youngren, Nancy (William) Slimack, and Robert Fultz; five grandchildren, Larry (Cheryl) Kingsbury, William (Jeanne) Kingsbury, Jennifer Piper, Victoria (Matthew) Jevne, and Laura Slimack; ten great-grandchildren, Alicia Andrews, Justin Andrews, Jake Piper, Collin Kingsbury, Colby Kingsbury, Liam, Hayden, Owen, and Anna Kingsbury, and Savannah Jevne; sisters, Marcella Bennington and Hazel Hall; sister-in-law, Wilma Walton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertie (nee King) Beair; brother, Elwood Beair; sisters, Alma Cline and Thelma Kegley.
Ruby was born in 1931 to William and Gertie Beair in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She loved her family, square dancing, and being a housewife.
She will be greatly missed by all her loving family, and fondly remembered.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to all the wonderful Hospice workers who helped care for Ruby during her courageous battle with Parkinson's and her friends who sent her cards and visited her.
A Celebration of Ruby's life will begin on Thursday, August 21, 2014 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, 60435, Chaplain Dee Goodale officiating.
