Rosmarie J. Slobodnik
March 3, 1930 — May 24, 2010
Rosemarie Slobodnik (nee Jacksa) age 80, at rest Monday, May 24 at Deerbrook Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Survived by her husband, Raymond J. Slobodnik, Sr.; her children, Raymond J.(Diane) Slobodnik, Jr., and Linda Marie Slobodnik; granddaughters Samantha and Sharon Slobodnik; her brothers, Joseph (Marcella) Jacksa, Jr., and Richard Jacksa; and a sister, Frances (Arthur) Schultz. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosemarie was preceded by her parents, Joseph, Sr., and Mary (nee O"Bert) Jacksa, and a sister, Shirley (Robert) Skerjan.
She was a member of St. Anne"s Parish in Crest Hill. For those wishing to leave lasting memorials, the family requests that you please consider donations to Seasons Hospice or Joliet Area Community Hospice.
A Celebration of Rosemarie"s life will be held on Friday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to St. Anne"s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM
