Rosetta Godsey (Pierce)
June 8, 1945 — December 13, 2006
Age 61. At rest Wednesday December 13, 2006 at St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights, IL after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, James T. Godsey Jr. Loving mother of James H., Keith A., Kalvin L. (Heather) and Tony M. Godsey. Dearest grandmother of Bridgette (Glen) Biggs, Ashley, Joshua and great great granddaughter, Eternity Rose. Four sisters, Viola and Sue Pierce, Lorene Gent, Omy Markland. Three brothers, Jerry (Carolyn), Darryll, Clarence Pierce. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Molly (nee Phipps) Pierce; sister, Margaret Pierce; five brothers, R.C., R.J., R.H., Roy and Fred Pierce.
Rosetta was born in Johnson City, TN, and resided in Joliet since 1964.

Where Chapel Services will be held Monday, December 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM, Rev. Jay Fernlund of Faith Bible Church officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.
