Rose C. Pucel

Rose C. Pucel (nee Haley), age 93, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 28, 2015 with her loving family by her side.

Rose is survived by her loving son, Thomas (Karen) Pucel; granddaughter, Lindsay Gunier; special sister-in-law, Leona Pucel; devoted caregiver, Lina Surviliene; dearest nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Pucel; one son in infancy, Frank R. Pucel; parents, Richard and Elizabeth (nee Kirley) Haley; brothers, Richard and Francis Haley; sisters, Josephine Kelly and Patricia Kestel.

Rose was a lifelong parishioner of the Cathedral of Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet as well as a C.C.W. member. She retired from the Will County Sheriff's Office after many years of dedicated service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

The family invites relatives and friends to gather at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus on Saturday, September 12, 2015 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be held privately. There will be no funeral home visitation or services.
