Rose C. Morrow
Born October 31, 1927, at rest May 5, 2012. Born in Paris, France. Rosie met her future husband Charles T. A�??RedA�?i�� Morrow in North Africa during World War II and they were married on May 2, 1947. Together they spent the next 62 years living the American dream. During those years Rosie evolved from a war bride to strong willed and loving wife and mother. She raised two sons Chuck (Ruth) Morrow of Pepin WI and Mike (Debra) Morrow of Joliet IL. After raising her boys Rosie enjoyed many happy years with her grandchildren Erin Joy (Conor) Burke and Terry (Amy) Morrow and in the last four years she loved spending time with her great grandchildren Charlie and Cora Burke.
In addition to her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren Rosie is survived by two sisters, Simone Lane of Crest Hill, IL, Violette Scott of New Lenox; three brothers, Raoul Cohen who resides in Oklahoma, Marcel Cohen, Jean Cohen who live in France.
Her family is grateful to the staff at Joliet Area Community Hospice for helping Rosie live her final days in comfort and peace.
Rosie lived a good life and touched the lives of many people. She will be remembered and missed.
