Age 99. Was peacefully called home by her Lord Jesus on Saturday April 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Angles Retirement Home in Joliet with her family by her side.
Survived by a son, Michael R. A�??BobA�?i�� (Nancy) Hibler Sr.; a daughter Patricia (Leonard) Hanna; a grandson, Michael R. A�??MikeA�?i�� (Diane) Hibler Jr.; 2 granddaughters, Kimberly (Pete) Hanna-Nolis and Janine (Rick) Hanna-Solley, and a great-grandson, Trevor Hibler; her sisters, Elizabeth A�??BettieA�?i�� (late Victor) Getson, and Marie A�??MitzA�?i�� (late Stanley Zakrajsek) Lorain, OH.
Preceded in death by her husband Michael L. Hibler (1972), her parents, Frank and Anna (nee Simonic) Stalzer, sisters; Anna (Frank) Berg and Christine Anna Stalzer; her brothers Frank (Dottie), John (Margaret), Louis (Helen), Joseph (Charlotte), Edward and William (Dorothy) Stalzer.
Rose was born in Joliet and was a lifelong area resident. She retired from MerichkaA�??s Restaurant after over 20 years of employment. She loved spending time with her family, and making her homemade fried chicken. RoseA�??s favorite family tradition was baking Poticias and Rushkies with A�??da girlsA�?i��. Rose was a wonderful mother and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: Joliet Area Community Hospice, Our Lady of Angles Retirement Home, or St. JosephA�??s Church in Joliet, and would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral services for Rose A. Hibler will be Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Tim Andres officiating. Interment to Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
