Rose Ann Gutierrez-Arias, 47, of Joliet passed away May 19, 2011. Beloved wife of Jaime Arias; loving mother of Michael Mejia; dear daughter of Delores Simon and S. Gus Gutierrez; sister of Daniel Smicker, Natalie (John) Herron, Marina Gutierrez, Laura (Ruben) Vallejo, Karen Gutierrez, Victor Gutierrez, Ann (Chuck) Bretz, Mary Gutierrez, John Gutierrez, and Anna Gutierrez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose will be greatly missed by her extended family, numerous friends and especially her Yorkies.
A Celebration of Rose"s life will begin on Tuesday, May 24 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment private. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 8 pm.
