Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Survived by his loving children Mary (Dennis) Alberico, Nadine (late Lance) McCalla, Chuck (Nancy) Robinson and Diane (Dwain) Sadler; grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Miller, Shelley (Bill) Antonelli, Lance, Scott (Amber) and Mark McCalla, Joey (Tammy) and Tim (Wendy) Robinson, Brian (Tammy) Sadler, Tammy (Mark) Owens; twenty great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Hannah, Mia, Nico, Dakota, Danielle, Matthew, Josh, Caleb, Courtney, Erica, Austin, Ashley, Mariah, Taylor, Hunter, Autumn, Kendall and Coy; one brother, Ivan (Amy) Bonham; one sister, Frances (late Frank) Scott. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Especially his dear friend, Jim ""Jaime"" Lorenc. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Dorothy Bonham; his parents, Edgar and Susie (nee Thornton) Bonham; two sisters, Virginia Howell and Lois Sloan; maternal grandparents, Joe and LuVerne Thornton; paternal grandparents, Felix and Elvira Bonham. Born in Wartburg, TN and has resided in Illinois since the late 1940's, worked for 27 years at Ceco Steel and retired from Folger Adams after 18 years of service. Roscoe loved spending time with his family and friends, watching old T.V. shows, playing his guitar, working on puzzles, writing in his journal and listening to Bluegrass. Roscoe will always be remembered as the gentle soul and kind heart of his family.

A Chapel Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:30 AM. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 PM.
