Rosario Arias

Rosario (nee Sosa) Arias, age 67, passed away on December 10th 2020 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Rosario is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Adolfo G. Arias; three loving children, Adolfo (Rachael). Esteban (Claudia) and Jacqueline (Hipolito) Flores; loving grandmother of Adolfo, Olivia, Emilio, Jesus, Aranza Arias; Carla and Andres Flores; One sister Santos (Manuel) Zavala; numerous nieces, nephews and comadres

She is preceded in death by her parents, Esteban and Santos (nee Amador) Sosa; one sister Irene Tovar; and her loving dog PBR.

She was a devoted grandma who lived an extraordinary life as a lifelong seamstress and avid snowbird traveler. She enjoyed many friendships and acquaintances with her active involvement and support of “The Horseman Association of Joliet” Los Nortenos de Joliet. She will be greatly missed by all for her quick wit, humor, and laughter.

Services for Rosario will begin on Monday, December 14, 2020 with a visitation that will be held in two parts at Tezak Funeral Home. The first part of the visitation will be from 2pm until 4pm and then the second from 5pm until 8pm the same day. The following day, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 the family will welcome guests from 11am until 12pm. A funeral service will begin at 12 pm at the funeral home. Rosario will then be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.
