Rosaline “Rose”LaSanska Dziuban 96 of Joliet, IL passed peacefully at home on November 21, 2023, with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother.
Born in Lisle, IL, later moving to New Lenox with her family and helping out on the family farm where she attended a one room school house, until she graduated 8th grade. From there she would take the train everyday to Joliet to attend Joliet Township High school Central Campus.
After graduating she moved to Joliet were she would meet a neighbor (Chester’s sister) and ultimately meet the love of her life.
She met Chester in the same house where they would eventually make their own and raise their family in. They were married at St. Thaddeus Church where Chester attended school, raising all of their Children at and eventually became grounds keepers until it closed in the 90’s. Living on Columbia street their entire marriage of 64 years. The two were quite the pair.
She loved spending time with her family and friends especially while hosting / cooking for the holidays and doing crafts with her grandkids. She was an avid quilter, sewer, crafter, painter, ceramist, baker and cook. If you needed something, call Gramma, she had and she would figure out how to do whatever you needed.
Teaching ceramics for years, you would often find all the neighborhood kids at her house creating their own.
Rose will always be remembered for her loving heart and helping anyone out no matter what they needed.
Proceeded in death by her parents Herman and Georgia (Burgess) LaSanska, her brothers Richard and, Russ LaSanska , her husband of 64 years Chester S. Dziuban 2011, her grandsons Nathaniel Charles Searing 2020, Joshua Joel Molenaar 2021, and a great great grandson Alexander Molenaar (2018).
She is survived by her children: Marianne (Charles) Searing, Joseph (Patti) Dziuban, Linda (late Glenn) Molenaar;
grandchildren: Ashley and Hailey Searing, CJ (Laura) Dziuban, Nicholas (Amanda) Dziuban, Adam (Carla) Molenaar; great grandkids: JJ and Charlotte Dziuban, Matthew (Sabrina) Molenaar, Joseph Molenaar and great great grandchildren Matthew Jr and Madilynn Molenaar. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and her pooch Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd.,Joliet,Il, The funeral procession will depart shortly after for a commital service scheduled at 1:30 pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL where she will be reunited with her loving husband.
